Marigold Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 oz León Y Sol Blanco
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz marigold-infused simple syrup (see instructions below)
- ½ oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
- Ice
- For garnish:
- Edible marigold flowers
- Orange or lime slices
- Salt or sugar for rimming (optional)
Marigold Simple Syrup:
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup fresh marigold petals (make sure they’re pesticide-free)

HOW TO MAKE THIS FLORAL FAVE!
Make the syrup:
- Bring water and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Remove from heat, add marigold petals, and let steep for 15 minutes.
- Strain out the petals and let the syrup cool.
Shake it up:
- Rim your glass with salt or sugar if desired.
- In a shaker, combine León Y Sol Blanco, lime juice, marigold simple syrup, and Cointreau with ice. Shake until well chilled.
Serve:
- Strain the mixture into a glass over ice.
Garnish:
- Add edible marigold flowers and a slice of lime or orange for an elegant finish.
